Game: Inverness Athletic FC vs St Duthus FC (North Caledonian League)
Date: Saturday, October 7th, 2017
Venue: Pavilion Park, Muir of Ord
Referee: Stephen McDade
Assistant referees: James McMartin and Thomas Campbell
TAKING a break from Football Times Cup action, the Saints turn their attentions to the Macleod & MacCallum North Caledonian League tomorrow, as they travel to Muir of Ord for the return fixture against hosts Inverness Athletic.
Injuries to Rory Patience and Adam MacDonald are likely to keep both out of action on Saturday, while Jon Campbell is also set to miss out. Returns are expected though, for the Lairg contingent of Miller Mackay, Ewan Ross, Craig Ross and Joe Sutherland who each played the last of their summer league games this past weekend in the Mackay Cup Final.
Manager Stuart Ross is happy to be getting back to league business after last weekend's hard fought cup win.
With the Sutherland summer league finally over, we have as near to a full squad to pick from as we could hope for, barring a couple who are recovering from injuries and illness which will leave us with some last minute decisions. The boys are all buzzing for the game and we're very much looking forward to this away fixture as Muir of Ord is always a good place to go. Hopefully we can emulate what we did there last season to add to our good start to the league campaign.
The Inverness camp will be hoping that tomorrow's match can be used to turn their fortunes around, having suffered defeat in each of their cup and league matches since the start of the season.
The match kicks off at 2.30pm at Pavilion Park, Muir of Ord.
