Game: St Duthus FC v Bunillidh Thistle FC (Macleod & MacCallum North Caledonian League)
Date: Saturday, February 24th, 2018
Venue: The Links Playing Fields, Tain
Referee: Scott Matthew
Assistant referees: David Cowie & Edward Nichol
CONTINUING on from their excellent win last week against Halkirk United, St Duthus will look to add further points to the table against Bunillidh Thistle tomorrow, as they welcome the Helmsdale side to the Links for the first time in almost fourteen years.
Graeme Grant's side travel to the Links having recorded just win this season - a 3-2 victory over the Saints at Couper Park - a result which manager Stuart Ross will be keen to turn around.
It's a massive day for the club with our Sportsman's Dinner afterwards, and that makes the entire day an occasion. We hope that we can hold up our end of the bargain on the footballing side and send us on to the Royal with a win under our belt. There has been real buzz around training this week and with the cup final looming I am looking for the boys to put down a marker for their place in the team.
The Saints are expected to be without Louis Webster, Will Ross and Joe Sutherland are expected to miss out, but returning are Barry Kenny and Rory Patience.
The game kicks off at an earlier time of 12.30pm, however all usual fayre will be available, with hot food, snacks, teas and coffees on sale, along with our regular full colour matchday programme.
