Congratulations go out to Knockbreck Primary School football club (KFC) from Tain who emerged as the winners of the Towanashie Shield on Thursday.
The shield was one of two trophies awarded at Ferry Brae pitch in North Kessock following a series of football games played in a tournament between sixteen different primary schools in the North.
Knockbreck coach and acting depute Greg Humble reserved plenty of praise for the team, giving credit where it was due for some hard work.
“There was lots of team work, blood sweat and tears literally, but the boys were delighted. It was lovely to see and a fantastic day for them.”
Well done to all at Knockbreck!
