St. Duthus this week negotiated the release and signing of Inverness Athletic forward Dean Allison, who joins the club until the end of the season.
Allison, 25, joins Saints having spent the 2018-19 season and the current campaign to date with Athletic, having scored 11 goals in 21 games for the Inverness club. His final game was played this past weekend, netting a brace against Bunillidh Thistle.
The former Inverness City man plays primarily as a striker and will bolster Saints' attacking options for the remainder of the campaign. Possessing sound technical ability both centrally and out wide, Allison also offers a significant aerial threat and could feature as early as this weekend in the club's Football Times Cup South Group opener away to Invergordon.
Manager Stuart Ross said tonight:
"Dean is player that has been on the radar for myself and Andy for over a year now so we are delighted to have the opportunity to bring him into the squad at this stage of the season."
