Match Report

St. Duthus used their midweek training night to play amateur side Avoch in a bounce game.
There were spots in the starting eleven for teenagers Adrian Voigt, Caillean Eaglesham and U18 candidates Harry Spence and Alex Mackenzie, who all came in and performed well during an evenly contested first half.
The Avoch side, a select of players from Invergordon, Loch Ness and Inverness, took the lead just before the interval with a header from Charlie Macdonald.
Several changes followed in the second half as Saints used the opportunity to try different systems and rotate players.
John Allan in goal produced a couple of good saves as Avoch put Saints under sustained pressure.
A curling drive from Finn As-Chainey was tipped over the bar by Neil Hastie in the latter stages and from the resultant corner, As-Chainey headed into the net to make it 1-1.
