Saints confirm Patterson signing

A LOAN DEAL was confirmed last Friday to bring young midfielder Ryan Patterson to St Duthus on a temporary transfer from Highland Football League side Brora Rangers until the end of the 2017-18 season.

A native of Invergordon, 17 year old Ryan arrived at Dudgeon Park during the summer after leaving Ross County's youth set up where he had played for ten years. He made his debut for Saints at the Links on Saturday, coming on as a substitute against Okrney.

Manager Stuart Ross said:

“We’ve had our eye on Ryan ever since he left County and have been checking on his progress. We’re delighted to be able to take him to Saints. He’s a young player with plenty of technical ability who is keen to learn and progress his game. Hopefully at St Duthus we can give him the platform to express himself and get to where he wants to while we enjoy the benefits of that.”
