Cup match postponed

TOMORROW's North Caledonian Cup Quarter Final match between Bunillidh Thistle and St Duthus has been postponed for a second time.

Concerns were first raised with the waterlogged Couper Park earlier this month after the Helmsdale side had confirmed that their January and February fixtures would all be played away from home and yesterday it was agreed that the match should be switched to Tain, where playability was more likely. Unfortunately due to freezing temperatures which have continued throughout this week and left patches of ice on the Links, and taking into account Met Office warnings of further ice going into Saturday, the game has been postponed.

A date for the rescheduled cup tie will be announced shortly, and will be played in the new year.
