Sportsman's Dinner held

ANOTHER great evening was had by all at the Royal Hotel last night for the club's third annual Sportsman’s Dinner event, held in aid of funds for St Duthus FC senior and youth teams. Over 70 people were in attendance to enjoy a sumptuous three course meal, followed by after-dinner speaking, an auction and raffle prize draw.

The club wishes to thank everyone who attended the event and to everyone who gave generously before and during the event. A good amount was raised and we now look forward to next year.

Our thanks firstly go to our guest speakers, MC Rab Mulheron, former Celtic and Scotland midfielder Murdo MacLeod and Queens Counsel and former Rangers vice-chairman Donald Findlay who entertained us throughout the evening. We are also very grateful to Ayaz and his staff at our sponsors The Royal Hotel who were excellent hosts.

Our thanks also go to our sound engineer Stephen Mackintosh Light and Sound and our photographer for the evening Nicky Murray. It all made for a fantastic night.

Lastly, we must thank our prize donors - Landmark Forest Adventure Park, Ross County FC, Ross Tokely, John Robertson, Brora Rangers FC, The Eagle Hotel, The Royal Hotel, The Dores Inn, Kartway, Glen Ord Distillery, Glenmorangie Distillery, Alan Forsyth, Niall Harkiss, Grants Bakery, Tain Golf Club, Royal Dornoch Golf Club, Castle of Mey, Kevin Gilmour and Sweet Celebrations.
