Another good run out today for a makeshift Saints XI against visitors from the North Region Junior Championship, New Elgin.
The manager took the chance to have a look at a handful of trialists in the starting lineup and off the bench, and also involved some of the younger members of the squad.
Jake Lockett opened the scoring just before the break with an impressive shot from distance that gave the keeper no chance.
Lockett passed up a chance to extend the lead early in the second half when he missed a spot kick after a penalty award for a foul on Adrian Voigt.
Saints eventually doubled their advantage on 68 minutes through one of their trialists, and the same player made it 3-0 eleven minutes later after good work from Alexander Scott.
