St Duthus 3 Bonar Bridge 0

St Duthus put another three points on the board with a dominant win over Bonar Bridge this afternoon.

Saints wasted no time in getting off the mark with a goal on thirteen minutes. Excellent work from Scott MacDonald down the right hand side created a chance for Aaron Skinner to fire home from close range to net his second of the season.

During a hotly contested first half, both sides hit the woodwork and forced goalkeepers into action, but the tide turned firmly in Saints' favour for the second half.

Chances fell to several Saints players to kill the game off during a one-sided second 45, with Finn As-Chainey, MacDonald, Stefan MacRitchie and Thomas Lewis all coming close to extending the lead.

Fouls on MacDonald and As-Chainey inside the area were both waved away by referee Colin MacDonald before he eventually pointed to the spot for a third infringement on the 81st minute. As-Chainey took the spot kick and dispatched it with composure to make it 2-0.

The win was wrapped up with a well taken goal from MacDonald who found space just inside the box to receive the ball from Kyle Mackenzie and slot under Ryan Renwick.
