Saints draw Bonar away in Football Times Cup

St Duthus joined a list of 12 teams who have registered for competition in this season's North Caledonian League, after attending the association's AGM this evening.

Bunillidh Thistle were named as the only new club, returning after a four year absence, while former champions Loch Ness confirmed that they have pulled out of the league.

11 teams (excluding Orkney) will take part in the first cup competition of the season, the Football Times Cup, which will see St Duthus travel to Bonar Bridge in the first round.

A quarter-final tie away to Golspie Sutherland awaits the winner.

League representatives also confirmed that St Duthus would be one of four guest clubs invited to take part in this year's North of Scotland FA Cup, subject to conditions. More information on Saints' participation in the Highland League affiliated competition is to follow.
