All Saints for 2024-25

The first of several player renewals have been announced at the club, with Adam Allan, Jamie Skinner, Johnny Allan, Finn As-Chainey and Adrian Voigt all confirming their commitment to Saints for 2024-25 today.

Adam Allan, who joined the club in 2019, moves into his sixth season, having played 71 games and scored 3 goals. A tenacious and battling defender, his Saints honours include two winners' medals, winning the Football Times Cup in 2020 and the North Caledonian Cup in 2022.

Last year's Players' Player of the Year Jamie Skinner prepares to participate in his seventh season with St Duthus, having had two spells between 2016 and 2019 and from 2021 to the present season. With 97 appearances on record, the stylish defender/midfielder is set to join the 100 club very soon.

Safe hands Johnny Allan also moves into his sixth season with Saints, having signed after playing with Stirling University. In 57 games he has kept a post-revival record of 15 clean sheets, while also picking up a cup winners' medal in the Football Times Cup in 2020 and the North Caledonian Cup in 2022.

Moving ever closer to his testimonial year with Saints, Finn As-Chainey plays his ninth season in Saints colours in 2024-25, having made 112 appearances as the club's second highest appearance holder. With 34 goals he is also the current squad's highest goalscorer with eyes on claiming the overall post-revival goalscorer top spot.

The camera-shy Adrian Voigt is also signed up for 2024-25, having played three seasons for the club already, making over 50 appearances. A highly skilfully left footed forward player with goals in his game, Adrian is sure to play a big part in the club's attacking options during the coming season.

Further player announcements are expected to follow soon.

Team manager John Maclellan said: "These lads' commitment is a huge boost to St Duthus going forward as we work towards success for the club.

"They are young, committed and talented boys all in their own ways, who have the club at heart and love playing for St Duthus. Despite their age, they have a wide range of experience playing at this level, and have racked up a lot of appearances between them for Saints.

"They are great also in welcoming in any new additions we have and are well loved by all members of our current squad. I know them well now and they are all very likeable guys with a great bond between them, and I’m looking forward to another season with them."
